ASB Tennis Classic & Heineken Open Auckland January 2013Tennis Auckland plays host to two major international tennis tournaments each year at the ASB Tennis Centre, Parnell. The ASB Classic Women's International and the Heineken Open Men's International take place immediately prior to the Australian Open each year.

2013 ASB Classic
The ASB Classic is New Zealand's premier & richest professional women's sporting event. Some of the biggest names in women's tennis have graced the courts at the ASB Tennis Centre and past tournaments have seen sell-out crowds.

2013 Heineken Open
The Heineken Open is the biggest men's professional sporting event in New Zealand, held in Auckland since 1956. Played in the week prior to the Australian Open, the ATP World Tour 250 event is a crucial stop in preparation for the year's first Grand Slam tournament.

Venue Information
The ASB Tennis Centre Parnell is located close to the CBD and the Auckland Domain. The Yock and Tennis Auckland stands are both uncovered stands with numbered concrete seats. They do not have bucket seats and cushions are recommended. The Jetstar and Jacob's Creek stand is uncovered and has numbered bucket seats. Food and Drinks are available for purchase at a number of food outlets on site at the tennis centre. |
